I am so impatient. I want to lose weight. I want to see the weight come off. I hate it when I stall, especially when I’m doing everything right. So I have two choices… Have patience and wait for the results (not me!), or find something else.

I was watching a documentary on Netflix the other day called “The Magic Pill” and it made so much sense! It talked about why low fat diets don’t work long term and compared our diets now, to those of my grandparents era where heart disease, diabetes, asthma etc were unusual as opposed to nearly everyone getting them. So according to that documentary, the answer is keto. So, what the heck! I’m now following that. I’m actually really enjoying it too. More than I have previous diets. On the first week, I lost quite a lot, but now it’s slowed down to about 300g a week and oddly enough, I don’t even mind.
I’ve had to give up running for now – my knee decided to play up so for now, that’s on the backburner.
I’m doing ok. I’m moving forward and my weight is still going down, so for now, that’s a win!
