As you would have read back in April, I lost the plot.
Unfortunately, I found it really hard to get back on track and while I was mindful of what I ate, I wasn’t actively trying to lose more weight. I don’t know why my brain wasn’t functioning, but it was in sabotage mode.
This said, I didn’t gain that much weight. I gained a small amount but not enough for me to throw in the towel as I have before.
So this week three things happened.
1. I found my mojo. I remembered that I’d signed up to a programme some time ago and decided to go look at it again. All the before and after photo’s inspired me and I decided to get my act together and get focused again.
2. I WON MY FIRST DIETBET!!!!!!!!!!! Over the 6 months, because I won every month (I’d hit my goal by the end of March, so knew I’d win!), I took home a total of $245. Plus back in February I’d won a “progress prize” of $200 just for taking part, so my total was $445!!! Not bad for 6 months of investing in myself, right?
3. I got inspired by a friend to get back on to the couch to 5k programme.
I went back to looking after myself on Monday. I’ve been exercising every day. I completed day W1D2 of the C25k today, along side the exercises from my FitMum programme.
I’m pumped! I’ve lost 6lb this week (and am back to where I was when I went off the rails)! And most importantly… I’m back on track!
